Professional Design & Navigation
Each website design needs to be clear, professional and intuitive for web site visitors in order to help you work smoothly and to communicate information clearly. FTT’s creative team of designers will work with you staff to create a site map and two, color homepage concepts. The concepts will then be revised down to one, final design for the creation of the web site.
The usability and navigation of the site will be of utmost importance in the organizational architecture of the site. Therefore, our creative team will work with you to streamline the navigation, categorize and group information as appropriate. FTT also proposes usability testing and focus groups to identify the needs and expectations of all those who will be using its new web site. A thorough review of existing and newly planned content will also be taken into consideration.
Content Management System
The web site provided by FTT will be equipped with an easy-to-use, robust content management system, or CMS. The CMS will allow for non-technical user to add, edit or delete HTML content areas of the web site based on the individual user’s role-based permissions in the system. The CMS will also have plug-in functionality.
From the CMS dashboard, you will have complete control over the direction of the content of the web site and will no longer depend upon a web master to make content updates.
With minimal training (approximately 2 hours), you will be able to change text and content on the web site, and add new pages using a simple web-based browser. Anyone with experience using MS Word and surfing the web will find using the CMS especially convenient for keeping the web site updated and current.
